It’s time for Unitarian Universalists to assert and defend two primary ideas underlying the United States Constitution: (1) the fundamental precept of freedom, the right of all human beings to comply with a life of their choosing so long as others will not be harmed, and (2) the fundamental principle of the inherent equal dignity of all human beings, which incorporates the appropriate of all human beings to equal justice.
