SoCal pop-punk outfit Unwritten Regulation fired longtime guitarist Rob Brewer last week following an onstage fracas that left frontman Scott Russo with one less tooth. Unwritten Regulation spawned just a few scene hits, like “Lonesome” and “Cailin.” In early 2002, the band issued its fourth full-size, the less punk, extra onerous rock Elva. I like Unwritten Regulation, and I will play for so long as folks wish to see it, however I have five different acts that I participate in, and then I produce and ghostwrite.
Recorded on location in Yellowstone Nationwide Park, the album was a part of VH1’s Music from High Places sequence, a type of Nationwide Geographic Explorer for the Warped Tour set. It is therefore with nice trepidation that we announce a very exclusive Unwritten Legislation Tour Kick-off†Party.
Over the previous few years, Russo doubled his efforts as a songsmith, and UL grew into what could possibly be described as singer-songwriter punk rock, which is why UL is without doubt one of the few punk bands that could pull off an acoustic set. While Reed and Law are definitely the MCs on this story Anders plays a very sturdy supporting function and I came to actually like all three of these males however ‘Unwritten Legislation’ courtesy of Anders actually does belong to Reed and Legislation and it is their story that we’re being given on this first book of Eden Finley’s ‘Steele Brothers’ series.
