Professor Andrea Roth has been elected to the American Law Institute, a number one impartial nonprofit that produces scholarly work to clarify, modernize, and otherwise enhance U.S. law. A famous criminal legislation expert, Roth was also appointed to chair the Legal Task Group of the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Organization of Scientific Area Committees for Forensic Science. At the UCT Faculty of Law we’re dedicated to furthering the goals of the Constitution, and our goal is to develop the following era of expert legal professionals who will ensure the upkeep and strengthening of an open, free and democratic South Africa. Our core objective remains instructing and research, but we’re dedicated to maintaining a clear awareness of the social and global context by which our graduates will discover their place.
